Page Background

Set the background colour of your page body — the area below the header. This is different from the Header Background, which only colours the top section.

Where to find it

In the editor, click the Page Background button in the top toolbar (paint icon). A panel opens with a colour picker.

Setting the colour

  1. Click the Page Background button in the top toolbar
  2. Use the colour picker, or paste a HEX code
  3. Click Apply — the page updates immediately

Page Background vs Header Background

Two separate controls that often confuse new users:

Most templates pair a dark header with a light page background (white, off-white, soft grey) so body copy stays readable.

💡

White or off-white is almost always the right choice for page background. It maximises readability and looks professional. Coloured page backgrounds compete with your content and slow comprehension.
