Connecting Aweber
Connect your Aweber account so opt-ins from your squeeze pages flow straight into one of your Aweber lists. Setup takes about a minute and only needs to be done once.
How the connection works
ConvertPages connects to Aweber using OAuth β the standard "Sign in withβ¦" approval flow. You log in to Aweber, click Allow, and ConvertPages gets permission to add subscribers to your lists. We never see or store your Aweber password.
π
The connection uses a refresh token that automatically renews itself. You shouldn't need to reconnect again unless you explicitly disconnect or revoke access from inside Aweber.
Connecting your account
- Open ConvertPages β Integrations from the top nav
- Find the Aweber row and click Connect
- You'll be redirected to Aweber. Log in if you're not already.
- Aweber asks if you want to grant ConvertPages permission to access your lists. Click Allow.
- You'll be sent back to the Integrations page. The Aweber row should now show Connected with a green indicator.
Choosing which list opt-ins go to
Connecting Aweber gives ConvertPages permission to add subscribers, but you still need to tell each squeeze page which list to send opt-ins to.
- Open the page you want to configure in the editor
- Open the form settings for the opt-in form
- Pick Aweber as the integration
- Pick the specific list from the dropdown
- Save and click Update
Disconnecting
If you want to disconnect Aweber:
- Go to Integrations β click Disconnect on the Aweber row
- Any squeeze pages currently configured to send to Aweber will stop adding subscribers
You can also revoke access from inside Aweber:
- Log in to Aweber β My Account β Apps
- Find ConvertPages and click Revoke
Troubleshooting
"Connection failed" after clicking Allow
Try connecting again. If it keeps failing, log out of Aweber, log back in, and retry.
Connected but no subscribers showing up in Aweber
- Make sure the page form has the right list selected
- Make sure the page has been updated after changing settings
- Check Aweber's "Recently Added" view β Aweber sometimes takes a minute to process new subscribers
- If a subscriber is already on the list, Aweber may silently skip the duplicate
"Token expired" or "Reconnect required" message
Click Disconnect, then Connect again to refresh the connection.
